Eric J Barton - Managing Partner
Eric is the founder Partner of the Firm and qualified in 1980. He set up the firm on his own in 1982 and was subsequently joined in 1983 by Maxwell Hendry. He has experience in Residential and Commercial Property Law, Commercial Disputes and Private Client matters of all kinds including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Guardianships. He has considerable experience of Commercial Leasing and with Business Purchases and Sales.
Apart from his business interests, Eric has maintained a keen interest in sport and tries to keep fit despite his advancing years. He is an avid reader of all types of literature and prior to taking up law obtained an Honours Degree in History and English Literature at Glasgow University and seriously considered an academic career in those areas. He has recently taken up cookery as an additional interest to occupy the very little amount of spare time that he has and is also a keen gym goer.
Heather Barton
Heather is the wife of our Senior Partner and runs our Estate Agency Department and has done so for over 10 years. We can market your property locally or we can advertise the property through the Glasgow Solicitors Property Centre (GSPC) and offer the wider exposure that GSPC can provide.
